The Grand Opening!!!
At last the long awaited grand opening day arrived. Daddy and Christopher had been busy with preparations and last minute details to make sure that everything would go smoothly. And it did!
We served around a hundred people in less than three and a half hours! Christopher and his girlfriend, Genesis, took orders, Daddy cranked out hot drinks, and Mama, Gonzalo (our new employee) and I made pancakes, paninis, frappuccinos, and milkshakes, and also served cinnamon rolls. We made an awesome team!
All in all, it was a success, and we pray that the Lord will bless it, and that we will be a blessing to the many people that come through.
Standing on the promises,
Emily Jo
Promise:
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Psalm 9:9,10

Meet the A team~ R-L, Emily, Mama Carla, Papa Rudi, Gonzalo.
Gonzalo was our official panini maker. Pretty soon his nickname is going to be "Panini"!
Some friends donated fifty mugs to be given to prominent people in Camiri (yes, our family was one of the lucky recipients). Here the ladies from church are putting ribbons on them.
Christopher and Genesis.
The crowd awaiting the big moment!
Notice our spiffy red polos!
And of course, we must have a "cut the ribbon" ceremony!
Getting ready,
Doing,
Done! Bravo!
Daddy, rockin' it on the machine!
The place was jam-packed!
When we got home for our two hour break, the kids had set up a very original movie theater!
