Snow day with friends

I went snowboarding for the first time last week...on my birthday! Yes, happy 20th birthday to me. ;-) It's a great way to celebrate your birthday (although I don't recommend it). However, the results can be excruciatingly painful! My neck got whipped around, my breath got knocked out of me, my thighs felt like someone stuck a hot knife in them (and here I seriously thought I was in good shape), and my upper body took a beating. But man, did we ever have fun.
First, my really cool brother and I got tea at Sisters Coffee Company-and a selfie

I had to take a picture of my birthday tag:-)
A few awesome friends met Myles and me on the mountain. (Note: we took this pic after the day was over, that's why we all have beany cap hair.)
The day was gorgeous, blue sky and not too cold, the views were incredible, and the snow was great.
Myles and Esther skied/snowboarded together quite a bit since they are more advanced and the rest of us were just trying to stay up! :-)
Best shot of the day...Danielle doing a snowboarder flip!

And I got stuck in a tree.

Ericka and I have loads of fun together!!!

Yeah I know...I look like a fish!

Ericka skied for the first time!

We thought that we hadn't brought enough lunch...until we unloaded our food and it multiplied!

I was only unable to move for about 2 days. Not so bad, considering. Not sure if I am cut out for snowboarding, but I had to try it at least once in my lifetime!
Standing on the promises,

Psalm 34:3-6 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
