An Afternoon on Windmill Lane- Europe Trip Part V

A very enjoyable afternoon was spent at Kinderdyke. These windmills were used to control the canal water levels; a very complex process! They now use a modern pumping system, and the windmills are only used as homes.

Our super fun group.

We obviously thought this old church was really cool. ;-)

But I have to admit that the windmills were cooler.

People still live in these! Who wouldn't want to live in a windmill?

This one was really odd looking.

Postcard perfect!

 Love all these cousins+friends!

 Windmill selfie ;-)

They know we tourists love klompen!

A very fun day indeed!

Psalm 91:3,4 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
