Looking Unto Jesus
We humans spend around 60-70% of our time using our incredible eyesight. We use it to find our clothes when we get out of bed in the morning, to make breakfast, to read our Bibles, books, and emails without even thinking twice. I just killed a spider on my desk and I couldn't have done it without seeing where the spider was!!! The pleasure of seeing its guts on a piece of paper....... But there's another kind of vision. And no, I'm not talking about dreams or trances or anything like that; I'm talking about spiritual vision. And this week I've been thinking about it a lot. I think that this thought revolves around these verses: Hebrews 12:1,2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.......
